Warranty Policy

El Turbo
Effective Date: February 6, 2026

El Turbo warrants its manufactured turbochargers against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and proper installation, subject to the terms below.

1. Warranty Coverage

  • El Turbo turbochargers are covered by a limited 180 day-warranty from the date of purchase.

  • This warranty covers manufacturing defects only.

  • Warranty coverage applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.

2. Warranty Inspection & Repairs

  • All warranty inspections and repairs must be performed exclusively at the El Turbo shop.

  • Any turbocharger that is disassembled, repaired, modified, or serviced by a third party will void the warranty immediately.

  • The turbocharger must be returned to El Turbo for inspection before any warranty determination is made.

3. Shipping Responsibilities for Warranty Claims

  • Customers are responsible for all shipping costs to send the turbocharger to El Turbo for warranty evaluation.

  • El Turbo will cover return shipping costs only if, after inspection, the turbocharger is found to have a defect or damage that is the responsibility of El Turbo.

  • If the issue is determined to be caused by:

    • Improper installation

    • Oil contamination or oil starvation

    • Foreign object damage

    • Overspeeding

    • Misuse or neglect

    • Normal wear and tear

    then the warranty claim will be denied and all shipping costs remain the customer’s responsibility.

4. Warranty Exclusions

This warranty does not cover:

  • Labor costs, downtime, towing, or loss of income

  • Improper installation or lack of proper priming

  • Contaminated oil, clogged oil lines, or inadequate oil supply

  • Use outside intended application

  • Damage caused by engine failure or related components

5. Warranty Claim Process

To initiate a warranty claim:

  1. Contact El Turbo customer support before shipping the turbo.

  2. Provide proof of purchase and a description of the issue.

  3. Ship the turbocharger to El Turbo for inspection (customer pays inbound shipping).

  4. El Turbo will inspect the unit and notify the customer of the warranty determination.

6. Limitation of Liability

El Turbo’s liability under this warranty is limited solely to repair or replacement of the turbocharger. No other warranties, expressed or implied, are provided.
